Gibson Gallery
The Gibson Girls 

The Gibson Gallery is home to the Gibson Girls Needlework Guild. Various projects are taught and displayed. Examples of completed works include cross-stitch, needlepoint, Bargello, crewel embroidery, silk and gold thread, pull and drawn thread, black work, bead work, ribbon embroidery and hardanger. Beginners welcome!
The Needlework guild meets Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm.
The cost each week is $1.00 donation to the Gibson Gallery
The Gibson Gallery is home to the following Guilds that welcome all Gibson Gallery Members to join. The Gallery's activity room offers terrific lighting and table space for working and a great ambiance for conversation and friendship.

The Gibson Gallery Membership Fee for 2023 is $20 for the year. A donation of $1.00 will be collected at every meeting of the guilds, it goes toward supporting the Gibson Gallery. Please contact the Gallery for more information.
The Wednesday Guild 

These ladies are knitters, crocheters, sewers, cross-stichers, needle pointers, or anything that has to do with a needle. Their experience allows them to help out others. The ladies also help out many local charities such as the Community Center in Amherstburg, the Hiatus House and The Richmond Nursing home. During the 2023 Giving season, 393 items were donated to 11 different charities and schools.  These items were made using donated yarn and materials from other knitters.  Thank you to this amazing group of ladies for their generous spirit!
The Wednesday Group meets every week from 1pm to 3:30pm. 
The cost each week is $1.00 donation to the Gibson Gallery. 
The Artist Station

The Artist Station is a guild open to all members of the Gallery who desire a relaxing, inviting, well lit atmosphere to create their artwork. Novice or professional-all are welcome. 
They meet each Thursday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm. 
The cost each week is $1.00 donation to the Gibson Gallery.
The Gibson Gallery, Night Guild

The Night Guild is open to all Members of the Gibson Gallery, professionals and amateur artist are welcome to join for an open-format art gathering. Meet other artist, make friends, and support our amazing art community! The guild will be offering still-life set ups, a live model, and/or you can bring your current project to work on.
They meet each Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.(starting June 22, 2023)
The cost each week is $1.00 donation to the Gibson Gallery. Any extra donations will go to funding a live model.
The Quilting Bee

If you are looking to quilt somewhere that has a friendly, casual atmosphere, then look no further.  The Gibson Gallery and hostess Carole Gagnon are starting a Wednesday night Quilting Bee (guild) where you can come and learn new ideas such as a THREE YARD FABRIC QUILT on our very first night.  We only ask that you become a member of Gibson Gallery.  Please come in or call us to register for the QUILTING BEE.  The BEE will begin as soon as we have 3 registrants.  You will be notified of this starting date.
